We are excited to bring you the Bonfire staples you’ve come to know, like our vast dietary menu selection, amazing crafted drinks with house made syrups, and local artist retail. Now we will be able to offer brand new things like big indoor and outdoor events and markets, private event hosting, a “chef’s table” experience, 3 mini retail shops, and last but certainly not least, plenty of SEATING!

Year after year more and more 3rd spaces are being closed down. It has never been more important to have in person connections and conversations. It has always been a top goal to provide a safe welcoming space to all and help provide a new 3rd place where people can exist, and bonds blossom.
In 2025 we were very lucky to come across an opportunity to allow us to open in Somersworth NH and provide a piece of that vision. Thanks to everyones support we have been lucky once again to take advantage of another opportunity that provides us with the space to execute our full vision. If you already like what we have accomplished, we are so very excited to show everyone the full Bonfire experience that we originally planned when the concept of Bonfire Coffee Bar was thought of many years ago.
However this growth comes at a huge cost, we have the opportunity, but we are taking a leap of faith that we can get the funds we need to make everything come to life. We have secured enough funding to know this will 100% open, but we need help getting more funds to truly make this location come to life and provide all of the amenities and features we would love to have at our grand opening. Which is why we are asking the community that we have built and those who wish to join, to help fund this 2nd location to it’s full vision.
This is not an ask we take lightly. So we have come up with ways to thank you and give back to those who support us in this effort. What is Bonfire Coffee Bar?
Our owner, Amelia, has had many years of experience running and managing other cafes and local retail shops. She knew one day her dream career would be to own her very own cafe. In January 2023, she jotted down a bunch of ideas, notes, and plans and filed for an LLC, knowing that to make the dream real, she had to start however she could.
After years of searching for opportunities, we finally found a way to make the dream real. Cafe Anatolia was offering their business as a turnkey operation with everything you would need to start included in the rent. It was this unique setup that allowed her to start the business with a very small budget, which was still everything she had. But thanks to Amelia’s experience and years of planning, Bonfire was quick to start supporting itself in a very short amount of time. It’s a rare example of a successful family business in the food and drink industry built without any access to wealth or even business loans.

Adventure
We aimed for a more challenging but important strategy. Creating the best drinks and food that EVERYONE can enjoy. Everything we make is gluten-free. We offer gluten-free baked goods, pastries, food, and bagels, as well as dairy-free and vegan baked goods, pastries, food, and cream cheese. Whenever we make something new, we first ask ourselves, "How can we make something amazing that everyone can enjoy?” It’s more than just options; we flipped the script by having our default offerings be the dietary-friendly ones, with limited options with restrictions only when we couldn’t make the quality/taste meet our high standards.
And that brings us to today. With the very fortunate opportunity to make it all real, it did come with some compromises to the original plan due to the size of the cafe space and the very small budget. So when this space in the Gonic mills became available with plenty of room to support the entire original vision, we were very grateful to have The Blended Batch help with the budget that would allow us to make this happen.
